Cleveland and Darrell from the Manhattan ACC vet bills

Remember Cleveland and Darrell, a bonded senior couple who landed at the Manhattan ACC in August, and promptly ended up on deathrow shortly after?They're in foster care, they're reunited, they're doing just fine :)However, they did require vet care, quite a bit. Both had pneumonia, not a big surprise, really. That just happens when you're elderly and you end up surrounded by germs in a big city shelter. So they needed chest x-rays, iv fluids,antibiotics, more chest x-rays and yes, some more fluids. Cleveland (now Beauty) took weeks to get over her pneumonia, butshe really seems on the mend now. The other day she even romped and played with her foster siblings, and it made her foster Mom so happy.Darrell (now Otto) got over his pneumonia a lot faster, thank goodness. However, he requires medicine for arthritis, as so many old little men do. Additionally, he had a tumor on his left foot removed, which seems to be a benign growth.It's hard not to love these two lovebirds. Sweetness, gray muzzles, and I bet if they could tell us their life stories, we'd all be in tears <3 One thing is for sure - they will never be separated again. We truly would appreciate any help with their vet bill. The vet gave us a huge break (Thank You, Dr. Linda, you're the best!), but we still owe around $ 380. The only way rescuers big and small can continue saving animals if they receive help doing so. No one can do it all on their own.
